(1873–1934, was born in Ivnytsia, near Zhytomyr) – Jewish poet, essayist, translator and editor, one of the founders of modern literature in the Hebrew language (also wrote in Yiddish), national poet of Israel. Founder of "Dvir" publishing house in Odesa(1919), which soon moved to Israel (1924) and currently continues to operate under the name «Kinneret Zmora-Bitan Dvir».

(was born in 1987 in Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro)) – Israeli actress, model, singer. The winner of the 5th season of the Israeli reality show "Kohav Nolad".Israeli singer of the year (2014). She is called "Israel's vocal powerhouse" for her diverse styles, unique voice and abilities. She received the title of "Woman of the Year" from one of the leading and popular radio stations in Israel, GLGLZ (2014).

(1900–1969, was born in Shepetivka, Khmelnytskyi region) –Jewish writer, wrote in Hebrew. Known as a great specialist in the field of coal enrichment, the author of a number of textbooks, monographs and inventions. In 1949 he was arrested and sent to the Gulag, where he taught Hebrew and Jewish literature to Jewish youth. In the early 1960s, his works became known in Israel under the pseudonym "A. Tsefoni".
