
Anna TALISMAN
(was born in 1974 in Odesa) – Israeli human rights defender. Worked with Israeli public LGBT organizations, counseled immigrant children, patients and victims of natural disasters. One of the founders and leading figures of the Russian-speaking LGBT movement in Israel, aimed at combating prejudices and stereotypes of immigrants from the former USSR (since 2008). Currently, the head of the project for Russian-speaking LGBT immigrants, adviser and teacher of "LIGA" (Russian-speaking women's feminist group).

Natan (Anatoliy) SHARANSKY
(was born in 1948 in Donetsk) – Israeli statesman and politician. Soviet human rights defender, dissident. An activist of the Jewish movement in the USSR, a member of the refusal movement in the 1970s and 1980s. One of the initiators of the creation of the Moscow Group for Monitoring Compliance with the Helsinki Agreements in the Field of Human Rights ("Helsinki Group") (mid-1970s), assistant and translator of Academician Andriy Sakharov. Created the Zionist Forum in Israel (a public organization dealing with the absorption of repatriates from the USSR), which was transformed into the political party "Israel for Aliyah". Knesset deputy and party leader (1996–2003). Minister of Industry and Trade (1996–1999). Minister of Internal Affairs (1999–2000). Minister of Construction (2001–2003). Deputy Prime Minister(2001–2003). Minister for Jerusalem Affairs (2003–2005). Head of the Jewish Agency("Sochnut") in Israel (2009–2018). Laureate of numerous awards, including the USA: Congress Gold Medal (1986), Presidential Medal of Freedom (2006), Ronald Reagan Freedom Award (2008).
